Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College is hiring a Psychology Instructor to teach undergraduate psychology courses, develop syllabi, and manage student progress. The incumbent will work under supervision and contribute to academic support services across campuses.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Psychology, at least 3 years of post-secondary teaching, and experience with online and in-person instruction via an LMS. Employment includes relocation as needed and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology from a regionally accredited four-year college.
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology coursework (Counseling/Social Work not substituting).
• Minimum three years of post-secondary teaching experience.
• Experience teaching face-to-face and online courses via Blackboard or similar LMS.

Responsibilities

• Instructs psychology courses and develops course syllabi, goals, and objectives.
• Evaluates students' progress and maintains required documentation and reports.
• Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts; may teach on multiple campuses.
