Job summary

The Technical College of the Lowcountry seeks a Psychology Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and guide students in the Associate of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences programs. The role encompasses instructional development, teaching performance, student advisement, and service to the college and community.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, evaluating courses, advising students, and maintaining office hours.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology required.
• Minimum of 18 graduate hours in Psychology.
• Experience in higher education instructional settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Psychology instruction with quality and engagement.
• Utilize distance learning tools to provide at least one section annually.
• Advise students and monitor academic progress in the AA, Humanities, and Social Sciences programs.
• Participate in professional development and college/community service activities.
• Maintain office hours and advisees in line with divisional policies.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment.
