Job summary

The Technical College of the Lowcountry seeks a Mathematics Instructor to deliver quality instruction within the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. You will teach mathematics courses, develop curricula, and advise students pursuing the Associate of Science.

The role emphasizes instructional development, student advisement, professional development, and service to the college through committees and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at a college level preferred.
• Ability to advise students and participate in college service activities.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned and in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Utilize distance learning technologies for at least one section annually.
• Provide high quality instruction in Mathematics regularly.
• Assess the accomplishments of students regularly.
• Participate in the Faculty Performance Management System.
• Achieve at least 3.5 on student evaluations and satisfactory peer/supervisor evaluations.
