Job summary

The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services is seeking a Psychology Associate for the Special Commitment Center. You will develop and lead evidence-based treatment groups, provide individual interventions, and contribute to treatment planning within a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must have a master’s or doctoral degree in psychology and licensure or Agency Affiliated Counselor status. Experience with sexual offending populations and IDD is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited program.
• Experience with individuals with a history of sexual offending preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain boundaries.
• Agency Affiliated Counselor status or independent practice license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead evidence-based treatment groups.
• Provide individualized 1:1 interventions to selected clients.
• Attend and contribute to treatment team meetings and debriefings.
• Complete electronic documentation of sessions and reports.
• Develop case conceptualizations for treatment planning.
• Participate in depositions or testify as needed.
• Complete notifications and risk assessments.
• Present findings to end-of-sentence review committee.
