Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Philosophy adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our off-campus centers. Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Philosophy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
• Attend required meetings, report attendance, and final grades prior to deadlines; communicate curriculum and personnel needs to the assigned chair/dean.
