Job summary

State of Arkansas is seeking a Psychologist II to provide advanced psychological services within a state agency setting. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapies as needed.

You will collaborate with medical professionals, social workers, and legal representatives to ensure coordinated care, while maintaining compliant documentation and applying trauma-informed care principles.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology and at least two years of psychologist experience.
• Must be licensed as a Psychologist in Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for state-services clients.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized tests.
• Develop diagnostic formulations and clinical recommendations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Perform crisis intervention and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with medical staff, social workers, and case managers.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with laws and agency standards.
