This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan repayment initiative. Eligibility requirements must be met, and the application must be submitted within four months of appointment. The award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the application.
The incumbent serves as a staff psychologist in the Domiciliary Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (DRRTP), providing assessments, individual and group therapy, patient staffing, and consultation. The DRRTP addresses substance use, psychosocial stressors, and co-occurring disorders.
This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT until October 18, 2025, with initial review cut-off on October 28, 2024, and subsequent monthly reviews. Applications received after these dates will be considered as vacancies arise.
Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Telework is available; this position is not virtual.
Applicants must meet the basic requirements, with experience levels and KSAs varying by grade (GS-11 to GS-13). Specific experience, licensure, and research skills are necessary for higher grades.
A doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program is required. Transcripts must be submitted with the application.
