Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a full-time Licensed Psychologist to join the WeCARE program via University Behavioral Associates (UBA). The psychologist will conduct psychological assessments and assist welfare recipients with medical and/or mental health barriers to employment, supporting disability determinations and federal applications.

• Doctoral degree required (PHD or PsyD).
• Licensed Psychologist in the State of New York (active registration).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with disability evaluations strongly preferred.
• Strong writing skills required.
• Knowledge of medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Psychological Assessments for clients when they disagree with Functional Capacity Outcome determinations or when aClinical Assessment cannot determine outcomes and mental health barriers are identified.
• Collaborate with Medical Director to implement SOPs and ensure adherence to NYC HRA contractual requirements.
• Serve as a clinical resource for WeCARE staff to help meet program goals and contractual obligations.
