Job summary

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System, a 160-bed hospital within Universal Health Services in Chicago, seeks a Group Facilitator to deliver psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic group sessions for children, adolescents and adults. You will guide participation, address group dynamics, and document progress toward treatment goals within a safety-conscious, confidential environment.

The role reports to the Director of Psychological Services, participates in supervision, and collaborates with milieu

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Experience in group facilitation; inpatient psychiatric setting preferred.
• State license preferred.
• Knowledge of group process, dynamics and safety precautions; CBT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate regular group therapy sessions for pediatric, adolescent and adult patients.
• Document group notes including content, observations and progress toward goals.
• Maintain communication with the Director of Psychological Services and treatment teams.
• Attend clinical supervision and follow daily programming schedule.
