Job summary

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System in Chicago seeks a Group Facilitator to deliver quality psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic treatment across pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. The role centers on preparing and leading regular group therapy sessions, guiding participation, and observing responses to content.

The position emphasizes accurate group notes, collaboration with the Director of Psychological Services, milieu staff, and treatment teams, and adherence to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field and/or licensed in a clinically related field.
• Experience: Prior experience providing group facilitation, preferably with psychiatric mental health population.
• Licensure/Certification: State license preferred.
• Knowledge: Group process, dynamics, safety precautions; CBT theory and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic group sessions for pediatric to adult patients.
• Document group notes, observations, and progress toward treatment goals.
• Maintain communication with the Director of Psychological Services and treatment teams.
• Attend clinical supervision regularly.
