Position: Full-time Consultation Liaison and Emergency Department Psychiatrist

University of Michigan Health-Sparrow in Lansing is seeking a full-time, board-certified Psychiatrist to join our Consultation Liaison and Emergency Department team. Our institution is dedicated to improving access to medical care across the Mid-Michigan region.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing psychiatric consultations throughout the hospital, including in the emergency department and designated behavioral health areas.
• Managing an average of 5-6 consults and follow-up needs daily.
• Collaborating with a team that includes another board-certified psychiatrist and two psychiatric nurse practitioners.
• Participating in on-call services for the consult liaison team.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Psychiatry.

Position Details:
