• OSF Medical Group seeks a board eligible/board certified psychiatrist with expertise in psychosomatic medicine to provide psychiatric consultations for inpatient care at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Support the consult liaison team consisting of 3 psychotherapists to address the psychiatric needs of hospitalized patients with initial assessment, recommendations, and follow-up to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• The after-hours call schedule is shared equally among local psychiatrists for a 1:5 phone-only call rotation.
• Epic EMR
• H1B and J1 visa applications accepted.

JOB SPECIFICS:

• Provide psychiatric consultations for inpatient care at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
• Support the consult liaison team to address psychiatric needs of hospitalized patients, including initial assessment, recommendations, and follow-up.
• Clinic hours are M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• Participate in a shared 1:5 after-hours call rotation.
• Use Epic EMR for documentation.
• H1B and J1 visa applications are accepted.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Licensed to prescribe narcotics if applicable.
• Board certified or eligible in psychiatry.
• Eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs.
• Meet all qualifications for malpractice and liability coverage.
