Overview

This role is a blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and operations planning, essential for driving the success of healthcare operations. Serves in both a clinical and leadership capacity, depending on specialty and location.

Responsibilities

• In a dyad leadership structure, responsible for monitoring and improving the level of care for patients.
• Managing Medical Directors oversee participant care, clinical outcomes, and the implementation and oversight of quality assessment, performance improvement, and performance management.
• Collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), quality leadership, and other executive teams to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve medical practice.

Qualifications

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed physician and 3 years in clinical leadership.
• Eligible to prescribe narcotics if applicable, licensed by the DEA and Illinois.
• Board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty(s).
• Eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs.
