Ballad Health's Behavioral Health team at Woodridge Hospital is seeking a PRN inpatient psychiatrist to provide services in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Coverage: The psychiatrist would primarily cover Woodridge Hospital and assist with consults at other facilities.

• PMHNPs on staff to assist the unit and see adult consults.
• Social Workers/Therapists onsite.
• Daily Treatment Team meetings.
• RN/LPN/Tech staff available.
• Nurse Managers on both units.
• Hours/Day: 8-hour shifts starting at 8 am or 9 am, typically 8-5 or 9-6.
• 2nd certifications (CONs) required during call for TN admissions, especially involuntary ones, done via secure portal.

Unit demographics include adult and some Gero-psych patients, depending on level of functioning. Main diagnoses include bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, secondary detox, depression, insomnia, and suicidal ideations. EMR system used is EPIC.
