The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking several Faculty Attending Psychiatrists to provide consultation using telehealth for patients in Adult Medical EDs across the Health System.
Position Summary:
The position will staff a hub/spoke telemedicine consultation model for patients across several adult Medical EDs requiring consultation, across the Mount Sinai Health system. The central pool of psychiatry attending providers will respond to psychiatric consult requests from medical EDs, as well as help coordinate admissions across MSHS facilities. The psychiatrist will work closely with the Clinical Command Center and facilitate transfers from within the Health System as well as non-MSHS hospitals.
