The Child / Adolescent Psychiatry Physician position involves providing direct patient care to children and adolescents aged 7-17 with psychiatric issues in both residential and outpatient settings. The physician will work collaboratively with a supportive team, ensuring a manageable caseload while enjoying a structured M-F work schedule. C / A Psychiatry, Northern, Virginia, Outpatient and Residential treatment opening

• The position duties include direct patient care of patients in their Residential Treatment and Outpatient programs.
• The workload will be 2.5 days in R.T. and 2.5 days in O.P. seeing children and adolescents ages 7-17 years with diverse psychiatric treatment issues.
• Caseload coverage would be assisted by a PMHNP.
• Physicians work in a collegial, supportive and caring environment working with other physicians, clinical staff and administration where there is opportunity for professional and personal growth.
• Caseload and call are manageable.

The Facility

• This is a residential treatment, Outpatient and Inpatient Acute Behavioral Health facility for children and adolescents.
• The facility offers general and specialty treatment programs for males and females in addition to a Special Education program. All programs are staffed by trained clinicians in a multidisciplinary treatment care environment under the direction of the Child Psychiatrist.

• Located just 33 miles West-Northwest of Washington, DC at the northwest terminus of Dulles Greenway.
• This area has undergone much growth over the last 5-10 years and is considered a suburban bedroom community for commuters to the National Capital.
