Job description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide care for individuals with catastrophic work-related injuries, often complicated by co-occurring mental health conditions. You will have the chance to make a positive impact on their recovery journey while working remotely from your home.

Details:

1. Scope of injuries: catastrophic work-related injuries including musculoskeletal injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, burns, amputations, and polytrauma.
2. Scope of co-occurring mental health conditions: anxiety, depression, acute stress/post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use disorders.
3. Acuity levels: acute, subacute, non-acute.
4. Create, review, and oversee the implementation of care coordination plans for injured workers, aligned with evidence-based practices.
5. Present care plans to clients and clinical staff.
6. Communicate with providers regarding injured workers, participating in peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
7. Work directly with a care coordinator nurse who will assist with care planning and coordination.
8. This is a consultant position with competitive compensation.
9. Work remotely with flexible hours.
10. Compensation is hourly pay.
