Televisit MD Inc. is an innovative telehealth software platform looking to expand its database of healthcare practitioners! This is a 100% remote position with a competitive payment model, an easy-to-navigate system, and unlimited access to patients all over the United States! Working with TelevisitMD, you will get all of the following: new quality patients, Medmal coverage, a Virtual workspace, EHR, Eprescribing, and Virtual telehealth visit tools and functions which enable flexibility for both patients and providers, allowing remote visits and replacing traditional brick-and-mortar practices.

We are currently seeking applications from practitioners with D.O licensure. Strong preference is given to practitioners licensed in multiple states.

We are looking for a responsible Doctor of Osteopathy to provide high-quality medical care by examining patients and treating ailments. You will undertake tasks aimed at prevention and the promotion of healthy habits. A great Doctor of Osteopathy is highly qualified and compassionate. You must be knowledgeable about diseases, epidemiology, and other medical conditions to interpret symptoms and diagnose conditions. The role can be demanding, requiring patience and physical endurance.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct routine check-ups to assess patients' health and identify potential issues.
  2. Provide advice on healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventive measures to promote overall health.
  3. Examine ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition.
  4. Ask intuitive questions to discover causes of illness.
  5. Make informed diagnoses based on scientific knowledge and patient history.
  6. Prescribe and interpret lab tests to gather more information about infections or abnormalities.
  7. Prescribe non-narcotic medications and provide detailed instructions for their use.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to form a high-performing medical team.
  9. Examine and treat injuries; refer patients to specialists when necessary (ophthalmologists, orthopedists, neurologists, etc.).
  10. Maintain accurate records of patient diseases, operations, and significant health events.
  11. Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with patients.
  12. Stay updated with medical advancements by attending conferences and seminars.

Skills

  1. Proven experience as a Doctor of Osteopathy.
  2. Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
  3. Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
  4. In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and best practices.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  6. Respect for patient confidentiality.

  9. Valid Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) license to practice.
