Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager to lead promotions of our psychiatry portfolio in a Spokane-based territory. The role drives sales with clinical knowledge, executing strategies and building physician and payer relationships.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales, a BA/BS, and solid MS Office skills. Travel up to 40% within the U.S. and ongoing product training are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years pharma/biopharma sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to attain product knowledge with annual certification.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy & tactics, allocate resources to enhance sales execution.
• Selling: deliver messages clearly, probe customer needs, handle objections, and close with a commitment to action.
• Customer Development: build and maintain relationships based on customer needs and goals, integrating total office account management.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: map account linkages and apply therapeutic knowledge to uncover opportunities.
• Reimbursement: stay informed on payer dynamics and address access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: apply knowledge of regulatory environment and Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations.
