Qualifications

• Active Maryland medical license in good standing.
• At least 10 years of experience practicing psychiatry.

• Experience with psychiatric treatment, including medication management and psychotherapy, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and clinical consultation services.
• Assess patients' psychiatric symptoms and histories to establish diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans addressing clinical, emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral needs.
• Provide psychotherapy and medication management as appropriate.
• Monitor treatment progress, medication effects, and overall clinical response.

Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and clinical consultation services, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and CON evaluations, as applicable to the program's clinical and regulatory requirements.
• Assessing patients' psychiatric symptoms, clinical histories, and presenting concerns to establish appropriate diagnoses.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that address patients' clinical, emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral needs.
• Providing psychotherapy and medication management, as appropriate to the patient's needs and the clinician's scope of practice.
• Monitoring treatment progress, medication effectiveness, potential side effects, and overall clinical response.
• Adjusting treatment plans and medication regimens when clinically indicated.
• Collaborating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary treatment team members to promote continuity and coordination of care.
• Providing clinical consultation and guidance to support effective, patient-centered treatment.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and complete clinical records in accordance with professional standards and applicable regulations.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and maintaining current knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric practices.

Required Qualifications
