Interdynamics, Inc. is a Hyattsville-based behavioral health provider seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our clinical team as an independent contractor, offering a flexible, part-time schedule of about 20 hours per week in an outpatient setting.

You will deliver comprehensive psychiatric services, including evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning, with psychotherapy and medication management as clinically appropriate, while maintaining autonomy and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Your Role

As a Psychiatrist with Interdynamics, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric and CON evaluations.
• Evaluating patients and establishing appropriate diagnoses.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical, emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral needs.
• Providing psychotherapy and medication management, as clinically appropriate.
• Monitoring treatment response, evaluating medication effectiveness and side effects, and making adjustments when indicated.
• Consulting and collaborating with patients, families, and members of the treatment team.
• Providing clinical guidance and contributing to coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
• Staying current with developments in psychiatry, behavioral health, and evidence-based treatment through continuing education and professional development.
