Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Woodstock, IL, seeks a Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team. You will provide PHP/IOP coverage, manage outpatient psychiatry, and participate in a 1:5 call rotation alongside a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Strong commitment to patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage for the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
• Deliver psychiatric emergency services coverage in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain an outpatient ambulatory clinic, offering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
• Participate in call rotation; call coverage is 1:5.
• Provide overnight call coverage on a 1:5 rotation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Support program development and expansion of advanced behavioral health treatment modalities.
