Job summary

Compass Health Center in Chicago area seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join interdisciplinary teams focused on PHP/IOP for children through adults. The role emphasizes autonomous treatment planning within a crisis-informed program.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, prescribe meds when indicated, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple programs. Onsite, full-time, four shifts weekly, 10:30 AM–8:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible as Advanced Practice Nurse in Illinois.
• ANCC PMHNP Certification required.
• DEA license for prescriptive authority.
• RN license issued in Illinois.
• DNP or MSN from an accredited nursing program.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial psychiatric evaluations to determine diagnosis and plan of care.
• Revise and implement therapeutic regimens via interdisciplinary approach.
• Monitor patient progress and coordinate with treatment team.
