TEEMA Group is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis and treatment for residents in a specialized care setting in Waco, Texas. The role includes medication management, documentation in an electronic health record, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas medical license, Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, and an active DEA registration.

Qualifications

• MD with unrestricted Texas license
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
• DEA registration active
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications with clinical justification
• Evaluate treatment response and adjust as needed
• Maintain timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
• Present clinical information clearly and organize required data
• Provide psychiatric services with minimal supervision
• Complete facility and state mandated training
