Job summary

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Psychiatrist to work in a youth center located in Waco, TX. The Psychiatrist will diagnose, treat psychiatric disorders, and perform psychiatric assessments, providing timely, and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our electronic medical records of the residents with intellectual disabilities.

Pay rate is $170-178/hr with a schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

Qualifications

• Must hold unrestricted Texas MD license and be board certified or eligible in Psychiatry.
• Must have a current unrestricted DEA registration.
• Must possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Must complete facility-required training.
• Proficient with computers/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders.
• Perform psychiatric assessments for residents.
• Maintain timely, accurate charting in EMR.
• Provide care at a youth center in Waco, TX, with on-site or telepsychiatry options.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM | Services can be provided on-site or remotely (telepsychiatry).

Requirements:

• Must be licensed (unrestricted) as a medical doctor by the State of Texas and be Board Certified or Board eligible in Psychiatry in the State of Texas.
• Must have current unrestricted registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
• Must possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI#).
• Must complete facility required training
• Psychiatrist must be proficient in computers/electronic health records.
