Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time, on-site Psychiatrist to join the team at Pontiac Correctional Center in Pontiac, Illinois. The psychiatrist provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, works under the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in delivering mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois MD/DO license or ability to obtain.
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
• BC/BE in Psychiatry is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
• Work under supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
• Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary mental health team.

We are currently seeking a full-time, onsite Psychiatrist to join our team at Pontiac Correctional Center located in Pontiac, Illinois.

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Annual salary starting at $380,000 or higher based on years of experience.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
• Active, unrestricted DEA
• Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
• BC/BE in a Psychiatry specialty is required
