Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Psychiatrist at Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center to provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, leading a multidisciplinary team.

The role operates under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director with a focus on improving mental health services for incarcerated patients; Illinois license and BC/BE Psychiatry are required.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school is required.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois MD/DO license or ability to obtain.
• Active, unrestricted DEA license.
• BC/BE in Psychiatry is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
• Work under supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
• Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in mental health services.

We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team at Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center located in Joliet, Illinois.

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Annual salary starting at $374,400 or higher based on years of experience.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
• Active, unrestricted DEA
• Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
• BC/BE in a Psychiatry specialty is required
