Calqulate Metrics Ltd. is seeking a Psychiatrist for outpatient care in East Chicago, IN. This full-time, permanent role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend/holiday rounding.

Relocation assistance is available and practice can be designed around your goals in a tech-forward environment. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, pharmacologic management, and integration with primary care and social work teams.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible by ABPN with plan for certification within a defined timeframe.
• Indiana Medical License required or eligible and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with or aptitude for EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic interviews to create individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications; assess efficacy and side effects.
• Utilize psychotherapeutic methods alongside pharmacological treatments for acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with primary care, social work, and nursing teams for integrated behavioral health care.
• Maintain accurate EMR records and participate in clinical quality reviews to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic interviews and mental status examinations, to develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, evaluating efficacy and side effects to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize psychotherapeutic methods in conjunction with pharmacological treatments to manage acute and chronic mental health conditions
• Partner with primary care, social work, and nursing teams to provide integrated behavioral health support across clinical settings
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EHR) and participate in clinical quality reviews to enhance patient safety and care standards

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
