Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time, onsite Psychiatrist to join our team at Lincoln Correctional Center in Lincoln, Illinois. The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, and will work under the Medical Director while leading a multidisciplinary team in delivering mental health care to incarcerated patients.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with Illinois license or ability to obtain.
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
• BC/BE in Psychiatry is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
• Work under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
• Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in delivering mental health services.
• Collaborate to deliver care to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
