Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Psychiatrist to join the team at Pontiac Correctional Center, Pontiac, IL. This full-time, day-shift role offers a robust benefits package and an annual salary starting at $380,000 or higher based on experience.

The psychiatrist will perform evaluations, diagnoses and treatments, leading a multidisciplinary team in a correctional health setting. NHSC loan repayment may apply.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or ability to obtain.
• Active, unrestricted DEA license.
• Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check.
• BC/BE in Psychiatry required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
• Work under supervision of Psychiatric Medical Director.
• Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in mental health services.

We are currently seeking afull-timePsychiatristto join our team at Pontiac Correctional Center located in Pontiac, Illinois. This site qualifies for student loan repayment through NHSC!

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Annual salary starting at $380,000 or higher based on years of experience.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required


• Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain


• Active, unrestricted DEA


• Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check


• BC/BE in a Psychiatry specialty is required
