Job summary

Empower Mental Health PLLC is seeking a Psychiatrist to perform VA Compensation & Pension evaluations on a 1099 independent contractor basis. You will conduct objective, structured assessments for Veterans, using VA guidelines and DBQs, with reporting in VA formats.

This role involves performing objective, structured psychological assessments to assist the VA in determining disability benefits.This is a non-treatment, non-therapeutic role focused strictly on evaluation and documentation. Evaluations may be conducted in person and/or via telehealth, depending on assignment needs.This is a 1099 independent contractor position, compensated on a per-evaluation basis.

• No diagnosing for treatment, therapy, or medication management
• Maintain strict boundaries between evaluation and clinical care
• Professional Standards
• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards
• Maintain professionalism when working with Veteran populations

Qualifications

$175-$285 per evaluation
