Qualifications

Springfield Behavioral of Pennsylvania, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Psychiatrist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a wide range of mental health conditions. You will practice with clinical autonomy while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver thoughtful, evidence-based care.

You will begin with an on-site schedule to build your caseload and patient relationships, with the flexibility to transition into a hybrid model that includes both in-person and virtual care once established.

What you will do

• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based tools and clinical best practices
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications with a focus on patient outcomes
• Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and referral sources to ensure continuity of care
• Serve as a collaborating physician to PMHNPs, providing clinical guidance and support
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation within the EHR
