Job summary

Empower Mental Health PLLC is conducting VA Compensation & Pension evaluations. This is a non-treatment, non-therapeutic, 1099 independent contractor role with compensation on a per-evaluation basis. Telehealth and in-person opportunities are available.

As a Psychiatrist, you will perform objective assessments for Veterans, follow VA guidelines, and deliver concise reports with strict neutrality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• MD/DO license required.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation & assessment of Veterans using VA guidelines.
• Use Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized tools.
• Gather history via focused interviews and document findings clearly.
• Provide objective, unbiased assessments and timely reports.
• Submit reports within required timeframes.
