Job summary

Corewell Health West is seeking a full-time psychiatrist for a unique position in Grand Rapids, MI. The role is 50% Community Medicine and 50% Intellectual & Developmental Disability (IDD) clinic, with a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration.

You will treat adults with behavioral health needs in the Community Medicine Clinic and provide psychiatric care for patients 16+ in the IDD clinic, working in a whole-person care model with dedicated collaboration time.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required, board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
• Comfortable treating patients aged 16 and older.
• Interest in Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and team-based or integrated care models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care for adults with behavioral health needs in Community Medicine.
• Deliver psychiatric care and consultative support in the IDD clinic for patients 16+.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure whole-person care.
