Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a per diem Psychiatrist - Collaborative Care to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center with strong academic ties to Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Deliver integrated mental health care for patients living with HIV/AIDS as part of a multidisciplinary group.
• Collaborate with internal medicine physicians, nurses, social workers, and case managers to provide consultative and direct patient care.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric complications of HIV and manage neurocognitive disorders.
• Participate in clinical care, documentation, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and supervision/education of students.
