Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a per diem Psychiatrist – Collaborative Care to join NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in Bronx, NY. The role focuses on integrated mental health care for patients living with HIV/AIDS, with a multidisciplinary team emphasizing adherence and retention in care.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry and an active New York State Medical License are required. Per diem rates are $200/hour on weekdays and $225/hour on weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist required.
• Active New York State medical license required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver integrated mental health care for patients living with HIV/AIDS as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Work with internal medicine physicians, nurses, social workers, and case managers providing consultative and direct patient care.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric complications of HIV and manage neurocognitive disorders.
• Collaborate with infectious disease physicians and social workers to support medication adherence and retention in care.
• Participate in clinical care activities, documentation, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and supervision/education.
