AbsoluteCare Medical Center & Pharmacy in Cincinnati seeks a dynamic Psychiatrist to join an integrated team delivering collaborative care for medically complex and socially vulnerable patients. The role emphasizes population health outcomes, interdisciplinary teamwork, and direct patient care in a value-based model.

Responsibilities include guiding behavioral health management, providing tele-psychiatry as needed, and developing care protocols.

Formación

• Licensed and Board-Certified Psychiatrist in the applicable state
• Experience with addiction medicine preferred
• DEA
• BLS certification required
• Mission-driven to serve the underserved
• Passion for teaching primary care providers
• Strong focus on customer service
• Work without ego and build collaborative relationships
• Experience in population health management preferred
• Experience with Medicaid beneficiaries preferred
• Comfort with EMR systems
• Creative problem-solving and strong communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical guidance and direct care for members with acute and chronic behavioral health needs via a collaborative care model
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage high-risk, high-utilizing patients
• Develop learning materials for the care team and provide ongoing education
• Deliver direct patient care including diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and treatment plan evaluation
• Provide tele-psychiatry to appropriate members
• Support with medication management of behavioral health medications including LAIs
• Assist in coordinating care with inpatient and outpatient providers
• Participate in developing protocols for Medication-Assisted Treatment
• Engage in transitions of care and post-discharge follow-up
