Job summary

AbsoluteCARE Medical Center & Pharmacy seeks a Team Psychiatric Provider to lead behavioral health care within an interdisciplinary team. You will guide treatment for a cohort of patients, participate in team huddles, and develop learning materials for care teams while delivering direct patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration, medication management including LAIs, and tele-psychiatry for appropriate members, with a focus on serving underserved populations and improving outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• DEA license and BLS certification required.
• Mission-driven to serve the underserved and teach primary care providers.
• Strong teamwork and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance and direct care for members with acute and chronic behavioral health needs.
• Collaborate with care teams using a modified Collaborative Care Model.
• Deliver tele-psychiatry and peer-to-peer consultations as needed.
• Support medication management including LAIs and reconciliation.
• Outreach to inpatient and outpatient providers to coordinate care.
