Job summary

AbsoluteCare is seeking a dynamic Psychiatric Provider to join our team-based approach focused on vulnerable populations in Ohio. You will integrate with primary care, care managers, nurses and behavioral health clinicians to deliver coordinated, value-based psychiatric care in office settings, including telepsychiatry as needed.

The role emphasizes collaborative care management, medical decision making for complex patients, and education for the care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed and board-certified psychiatrist in the applicable state.
• Experience with addiction medicine preferred.
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance and direct care for behavioral health needs within a collaborative care model.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage high-risk, high-utilizing patients.
• Educate and support other providers on medical management for behavioral health.
• Provide direct patient care including diagnosis and treatment plan evaluation.
• Offer tele-psychiatry to appropriate members.
