The State of Georgia invites applications for a Psychiatrist at Georgia Regional Hospital Atlanta. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary team, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management for behavioral health and developmental disability patients.

Ideal candidates hold an MD/DO, completed a psychiatric residency, ABPN certification (or eligibility), a current medical license, and DEA registration.

Competenze

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Completed an accredited psychiatric residency.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry or eligibility.
• Current and unrestricted medical license in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Experience with developmental disabilities and/or severe mental illness.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
• Commitment to person-centered, recovery-oriented care.

Mansioni

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up care and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and direct care staff.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical rounds.
• Document all clinical encounters and progress notes accurately.

• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and confidentiality.
