Job summary

Carolina Outreach in North Carolina is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide clinical services to clients in the ACT program, including medication management, crisis assessment, individual psychotherapy, and treatment planning.

You will supervise medical staff, coordinate with nursing and ACT team members, and support families while contributing to recovery goals within a stable, mission-driven organization that values clinician support and work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed psychiatrist with U.S. credentials.
• Experience with ACT teams and behavioral health populations is preferred.
• Medical Doctor degree and board certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for ACT clients.
• Develop and oversee treatment plans in collaboration with the ACT team.
• Supervise psychiatric staff and coordinate care with nursing and other teams.
• Respond to ACT team needs 24/7/365 as required.
