Job summary

Carolina Outreach in North Carolina is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide clinical services to ACT clients, including medication management, crisis assessment, and psychotherapy, with 24/7 on-call support for the ACT team. You will supervise medical staff, coordinate care with NPs/PAs, and collaborate with nursing and other providers to ensure integrated care.

MD licensure and experience with the population served are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychiatrist with capacity to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Experience supervising medical staff on an ACT team.
• Ability to consult with primary care providers and coordinate care.
• Strong crisis assessment and treatment planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for ACT clients.
• Develop and support treatment plans with the ACT team.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to psychiatric staff, NP/PA teammates.
• Coordinate with nursing and ACT staff to deliver integrated care.
