Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join the Selinsgrove Center in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. The role involves psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients with mental health needs, working under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director and providing clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a medical license in Pennsylvania, BE/BC, and is prepared to complete required security clearance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a residency in psychiatry meeting certification requirements (ABPN or AO Board).
• Current license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
• BE/BC board eligibility or certification.
• All qualified applicants must complete security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
• Work under supervision of Psychiatric Medical Director and lead a multidisciplinary team.

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Qualifications

• Completion of a residency or training program in psychiatry which meets the certification requirements of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry
• Possession of a current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Board of Medical Education and Licensure, or the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners
