Job summary

SourceMD is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our 24-hour psychiatric crisis center in Pennsylvania. This full-time (15 shifts/mo) or part-time (8 shifts/mo) role focuses on evaluations and consultations with a diverse patient population, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate is board-eligible/board-certified, has a PA license and DEA registration, and can coordinate care with outside providers. This position suits both new graduates and experienced psychiatrists.

Qualifications

• Medical license in Pennsylvania and DEA registration required.
• Board certification or board-eligible status preferred.
• C-L fellowship training or experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations for patients at the 24-hour crisis center.
• Perform in-person consults for hospitalized patients receiving medical care.
• Work nights and weekends in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Coordinate care with outside providers and hospital disciplines within the multidisciplinary team.

Psychiatric Hospitalist Needed

We are seeking a full-time (15 shifts monthly) or part-time (8 shifts monthly) Board Eligible/Board Certified psychiatrist for the health system's 24-hour psychiatric crisis center. Physician will work nights/weekends in psychiatric emergency center working with diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations to patients that present to the service as well as in-person consults to hospitalized patients receiving medical care. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide high quality care to all patients. Candidate will function as a proactive team player in a fast-paced environment ensuring high quality care to patients seeking treatment for psychiatric emergencies. This is a wonderful opportunity for a new graduate or an experienced psychiatrist. Ideal candidate will coordinate care with outside providers and hospital disciplines when clinically appropriate.

Requirements
