Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join Norristown State Hospital in Norristown, PA. You will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.

Candidates must complete a psychiatry residency, hold an active Pennsylvania medical license, and be BE/BC. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous paid time

• Residency or training in psychiatry meeting ABPN or Osteopathic boards
• Current PA medical license
• Board eligible/certified (BE/BC)

Responsibilities

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.

Qualifications

• Completion of a residency or training program in psychiatry which meets the certification requirements of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry
• Possession of a current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Board of Medical Education and Licensure, or the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners
• BE/BC
• All qualified applicants are required to successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
