Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Psychiatrist role based in Grand Ledge, MI, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Psychiatrist will provide diagnostic evaluations, ongoing psychiatric care, and medication management for individuals with a range of mental health conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams, and documenting services in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The role involves monitoring treatment effectiveness, adjusting interventions as needed, and providing consultation to other professionals and support staff. The Psychiatrist will also participate in case reviews, contribute to quality improvement activities, and help ensure that services are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Experience in Adolescent Psychiatry and broader Mental Health care, with the ability to work effectively across age groups and clinical presentations.
• Strong foundation in Medicine, with current knowledge of psychopharmacology, co-occurring conditions, and integrated behavioral health approaches.
• Active and unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in Michigan, or eligibility for Michigan licensure.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry; board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Comfort with electronic health records and telehealth platforms; strong documentation and time-management skills.
