Chrysalis Psychiatry in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Board-certified Psychiatrist to join our outpatient team. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide medication management and psychotherapy, and supervise mid-level practitioners.

The role offers a $300,000 base salary, potential bonuses, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for clinical leadership including possible Clinical Director responsibilities. On-site work and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice in New Mexico.

Responsibilities

Chrysalis Psychiatry is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico nestled in the Rio Grande Valley with the beautiful Sandia Mountains at its edge. We specialize in high quality, evidence-based treatments, offering comprehensive services such as medication management and interventional therapies for PTSD, depression, and other mental health conditions. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatrist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and psychotherapy.
• Administer TMS motor thresholds and monitor patient progress.
• Provide clinical supervision and oversight to mid-level practitioners, including ongoing consultation, case review, and support for clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with the clinical leadership team to support quality of care, clinical standards, and professional development across the practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records; billing must match time scheduled with patients.

Leadership Opportunity:

Clinical leadership opportunities are available for a psychiatrist interested in taking on additional responsibility as Clinical Director. The ideal candidate will have an interest in clinical leadership and may assume some or all Clinical Director responsibilities based on experience and organizational needs. Prior experience supervising nurse practitioners, physician assistants, or other mid-level practitioners is strongly preferred.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice in New Mexico.
• Experience providing clinical supervision to mid-level practitioners is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Must maintain 32 clinical hours per week.
• Position is onsite in Albuquerque, NM.
• Experience with TMS is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
