Job summary

Volunteers of America, Utah is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for our 20-bed psychiatric subacute facility at Creekside Stabilization Center in Murray, Utah. The RN will partner with the team APRN to manage medications, monitor patients, and help stabilize individuals for transition to less restrictive care.

Shifts are 12 hours with a preference for weekend overnight coverage. On-call availability may be required, with on-call pay and a night differential.

Qualifications

• Current Utah RN license is required.
• Crisis intervention skills preferred.
• Excellent communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage medications and provide medical services with APRN.
• Coordinate required labs and documentation for medication system.
• Monitor patients for medical problems and side effects; educate patients and team.
