Job summary

Hampton Behavioral Health Center, a 120-bed acute care psychiatric hospital in Westampton, New Jersey, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its per diem team. You will provide direct patient care under physicians and treatment teams, perform safety checks, and contribute to a safe environment while documenting care.

This per diem role offers overtime opportunities and shift coverage flexibility, with no benefits attached.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN licensure is required.
• Minimum of 1 year psychiatric nursing experience, or 2 years of medical/surgical experience with leadership, strong clinical skills, and motivation.
• BSN preferred; NLN accredited program preferred; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and responds to medical needs of patients under physicians’ guidance.
• Conducts safety checks and implements behavioral management techniques.
• Maintains the hospital’s core values and mission.
