Sharon Hospital in northwestern Connecticut seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a collaborative care team. The RN assesses needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates patient progress in line with ANA scope of practice.

Shift: 6:45pm-7:15am, Full Time; Hours: 36. CT RN license and BLS; ACLS by probation end; one year RN experience preferred; emphasis on safety, learning, and high-quality patient-centered care.

Formación

• CT RN license is required or eligible to practice in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required; ACLS by end of probationary period.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Completes patient assessment and reassessment as clinically indicated.
• Documents detailed information including plan of care and outcomes.
• Administers medications following the five rights and monitors response.
• Coordinates and supervises delivery of nursing care and ensures handoffs.
• Promotes safety culture and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Plans and provides patient and family teaching and instruction.
